Motorola Droid still could be considered as a ‘killer’ iPhone. Only Motorola Droid can increase traffic in the world of internet usage.
The findings are the result of research published by Nielsen, Yahoo Tech, Thursday (12/11/2009). According to Nielsen, Droid and other Android-based phone will not be able to beat the iPhone prestige in the years ahead.
“With 10,000 applications on Android can not beat Apple’s iTune now numbering approximately 100,000 applications,” said Nielsen parties.
However, continued their Android integration with popular applications on the Google is now widely used by Internet users, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google’s Voice, will help meningatkan popularity of Android, though not in the near future.
Nielsen believes, in mid-2011, of the overall mobile phone sold worldwide, as many as 50 percent is contributed from the smartphone. The number is equal to 150 million users around the world.
“If you buy Android phone, you will use the Internet more often than you use another smartphone,” said the Nielsen.
Meanwhile, in the third quarter of this year, Nielsen found a stout users accessing the internet via mobile phone than smartphone. In the later half of 2011, approximately 120 million mobile phone users will more frequently access the Internet, while 90 million others will fight for access to video
