As expected, the 31-inch OLED TV (which is monstrous when compared to regular OLED displays) has arrived at IFA 2010 and made a pretty big splash. You certainly won't be able to take your eyes off a TV that measures all of just 2.9mm thin, and at that size, just about everything else in your home would look obese. While having a pretty small viewing real estate, it certainly won't come cheap at £6,000 a pop as it hits the market in March next year. Of course, the proof is in the pudding as they say, so those who are fortunate enough to have that kind of money to bring home one of these puppies will definitely claim it is money well spent after having a look at its image quality. Features include Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and boasting an infinite contrast ratio that allows it to be viewed from virtually any angle.

We are starting to wonder whether the Galaxy line of devices from Samsung will end up like the Eee PC range from Asus - after all, not only do we have a variety of Galaxy S smartphones, there is also the recently announced Galaxy Tab tablet device, and now, the Galaxy Player 50 which is actually a portable media player. Powered by Android 2.1 (why not Froyo?), the Galaxy Player 50 comes with a 3.2-inch display and is more than able to handle the likes of DivX, H.264 and other media formats. You can choose from either an 8GB or 16GB of internal memory, coupled with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity and a 2-megapixel camera. Surprisingly, the Galaxy Player 50 supports the Android Market as well as other Google apps such as Google Maps Navigation and Gmail. Hopefully the games department for the Android Market will be vastly improved if it were to be able to hold a decent challenge against the App Store.

Logitech knows just how important ergonomics are to a gamer when it comes to hardware, and have just revealed three more gamepads for the masses - we're talking about the Logitech Gamepad F310, the Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510 and the Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710. First off, the Logitech Gamepad F310 will come in a familiar and comfortable control layout alongside a special floating D-pad design that delivers exceptional accuracy in all eight directions. XInput and DirectInput technology have also been incorporated, virtually assuring you that it will function with any game that supports a gamepad. Just in case the game you want to play does not support gamepads, you can always go ahead and install the included Profiler software and make sure the gamepad is properly configured to emulate keyboard and mouse actions. It will retail for $24.99 a pop. More on the other two gamepads after the jump.

MSI's not going to lose out to Sony when it comes to 3D notebooks, as the company has paraded it at the 2010 IFA Show in Berlin. The Core i3-powered 16-inch FR600 notebook will come with integrated Intel graphics, TNX TruStudio Pro audio and a quartet of built-in speakers to get you started, while the CX623 with 3D technology will function as a dedicated Nvidia graphics card option to cater for all of your mobile 3D needs. While the FR600 model will retail for around 900 Euros, the CX will start from 699 Euros upwards as both models are prepped to arrive in the European market this November.

Verizon Wireless will be making available its prepaid 3G data packages to the masses from September 28th onwards, where they comprise of two plans - one for multimedia-capable handsets while the other will target not only multimedia handsets but smartphones as well. The first plan will cost $10 monthly with just 25MB of data use, while any overage will by pretty painful on your pockets at $0.20 per MB. As for the other plan, it is much more favorable for heavy data users despite its $30 monthly fee since the plan is supposedly 'unlimited' - but we await how Verizon describes that criteria.
