Want to be the next James Bond? Thanko has come up with a new spy watch camera, dubbed the VICAWMD4, which is a waterproof spy camera that is capable of shooting videos at 640 x 480 resolution at 30fps. It's also capable of still shots at 1600 x 1200, and will offer 4GB of built-in memory. The only downside we can see is the slow USB 1.1 port that is used, instead of USB 2.0 or 3.0. The Waterproof Spy Watch Camera is already available in Japan for 14,450 Yen ($171).

If you happen to be living in Japan and are looking out for a new set of high-end earphones, Sony is slated to release its MDR-EX1000 earphones on October 23rd for 61,950 Yen ($735). These earphones sport a sensitivity of 108dB/mW, a bandwidth reproduction of 3-30,000Hz, impedance of 32 Ohms, and 16mm drivers. The earphones are made with a liquid crystalline polymer film and promise to be more rigid than a standard diaphragm, resulting in crisp and precise sound.

As we previously mentioned, Samsung's Galaxy Tab is getting plenty of attention this week, and now perhaps the device has gotten a little too much attention for Samsung's liking. The tablet hasn't even been made available for mass consumption yet, and the folks over at Sera-Apps have already managed to root the Galaxy Tab before the device is launched, which will allow you to fiddle with the system as you see fit. That being said, it remains to be seen if Samsung will take this period of time before the release to patch up the vulnerability that allows the rooting to be performed.

Having trouble playing Super Mario on your Android-powered device? Perhaps a NES controller might be able to help you out. A modder out there combined a breakout board, Arduino, and a blueSMIRF Bluetooth module to allow the NES controller to be used with the Android-device. Check out a video of the user playing Super Mario Bros. 3 with this controller after the jump!
