Eizo Nanao announces FlexScan T2351W multitouch monitor

The multitouch experience has become a staple for many ever since the iPhone took the world by storm, and this has proliferated to a gamut of devices as well apart from Apple’s offerings. Eizo Nanao decided to bring the multitouch experience to your desktop thanks to the new FlexScan T2351W multitouch monitor, where it will play nice with Windows 7’s support for multitouch, lessening the use of your mouse or keyboard when convenient. Featuring a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, this 23-inch display has horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178°, a brightness level of 265 cd/m2 and contrast ratio at 3,000:1. It can accept input from a bare or gloved hand, not to mention a touch pen/stylus as well. Connectivity options include DVI-D and D-Sub inputs, while HDMI input lets you enjoy your Blu-ray movies or games in a more intimate setting. No word on pricing, but it will come with a 3-year warranty. Hope to see this breeze through the FCC’s doors soon instead of being the Japan exclusive that it seems to be at the moment. Elonex releases tablets in the UK

Elonex has just revealed a plethora of tablet devices that are touted to go on sale in the UK, where they have been priced at affordable levels. We’re talking about £99 to £159, and at those sticker prices, chances are pretty high that interest will be strong. The eTouch line will start from 5-inches in size, going all the way to 10-inches if you need something larger. Powered by the Google Android operating system, they might come across as cheap substitutes for the Apple iPad, but will utilize a widescreen display instead of the iPad’s 4:3 screen. Each purchase will come with keyboard docks to further enhance their functionality when attached.

HTC Mystery CDMA/GSM Phone Visits The FCC

The folks over at the FCC have revealed some information on an upcoming HTC phone again, this time it’s a rather interesting 4-inch device that is labeled the “PD42100″. Details are still scarce, but we do know that it’ll support CDMA 2000, GSM 850 and EV-DO Rev. A. Other features should include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and possibly a 1.2GHz processor, which would make it one of the more powerful phones around, assuming that it doesn’t take too long to arrive on the market. From the pictures, it’s obvious that this phone will sport a sideways sliding keyboard, along with a removable battery. We’ll be keeping an eye for more information on this phone, so stay tuned!
